Building Real Skills in Link Strategy

Most people think link building is just about numbers. But after working with dozens of Vietnamese businesses trying to reach international markets, I've learned it's actually about connections. Real ones.

Our program starts in August 2026 and runs for twelve weeks. You'll spend time with actual client projects, not textbook examples. We work with small teams because that's how you actually learn this stuff—by doing it, making mistakes, and fixing them together.

Check out our Learning Tips if you want to know what to expect before applying.

What You'll Actually Learn

We cover four main areas over twelve weeks. Each module builds on the last one, but we also loop back when something doesn't click the first time.

Weeks 1-3

Understanding Link Ecosystems

You can't build links without understanding how they work in context. This part is slower than people expect, but it matters.

  • How search engines actually evaluate links
  • Reading link profiles for quality signals
  • Competitive analysis that goes beyond surface metrics
  • Identifying natural link patterns in different industries
Weeks 4-6

Outreach That Doesn't Feel Gross

Most outreach is terrible. We focus on building actual relationships instead of sending 500 templated emails.

  • Research techniques for finding the right contacts
  • Writing emails people might actually respond to
  • Creating content worth linking to
  • Managing conversations across multiple projects
Weeks 7-9

Content Strategy for Links

Good content attracts links naturally. Or at least makes outreach way easier. This is where strategy meets execution.

  • Finding topics that actually get linked
  • Creating data-driven content pieces
  • Visual content that stands out
  • Repurposing content across platforms
Weeks 10-12

Measuring What Matters

Numbers are easy to track but hard to interpret. We teach you what to measure and why it actually matters for business goals.

  • Setting realistic benchmarks
  • Tracking link quality over quantity
  • Reporting results to clients or stakeholders
  • Adjusting strategy based on data

Next Cohort Starts August 2026

Who You'll Learn From

Our instructors work on real client projects during the day. They teach because they actually like helping people figure this stuff out.

Linh Kaspersen, lead instructor for link strategy at MeshOnDat

Linh Kaspersen

Technical Strategy

Linh spent six years building link programs for SaaS companies before moving back to Vietnam. She's blunt about what works and what doesn't, which students appreciate after a few weeks.

Petra Olavarria, content strategy instructor at MeshOnDat program

Petra Olavarria

Content & Outreach

Petra runs outreach campaigns for e-commerce brands across Southeast Asia. Her response rates are consistently higher than industry averages, mostly because she refuses to use templates.

Iselin Brouwer, data analytics instructor at MeshOnDat learning program

Iselin Brouwer

Analytics & Measurement

Iselin turns messy data into clear insights. She teaches the measurement module and helps students set up tracking systems that don't require a statistics degree to understand.

Dagmar Einarsdottir, guest instructor for international markets at MeshOnDat

Dagmar Einarsdottir

International Markets

Dagmar joins us for three sessions on building links across different markets. She's worked in twelve countries and has strong opinions about cultural differences in outreach.
